I’ve been slacking hardcore and not doing anything with this blog. In the meantime, while I get my act together, here is an awesome interview.

Rdio →
I want to take a moment to share a website that has changed my life these past few months. I depend on it more than Facebook.
I lost my entire music library this summer for the second time and was devastated but then a friend told me about Rdio that lets you stream as much music as you want from your computer or smartphone. So instead of losing my mind trying to get 70G of music back I just pay...

First thoughts on Minus the Bear's OMNI
I’ve listened to the album a few times now and even though Planet of Ice could own its face, it is still a fantastic album.
The mood of it all is much different, much happier and electronic-y, which is rad.
My friend keeps complaining that some of their lyrics are lame and simple, but I’m okay with it.
2 Favorite songs: “Secret Country” and “Animal Backwards”

"What came first the Chicken or the Dickhead?"
The new Arctic Monkey’s cd is wayyyy different than I expected, even though I read a ton of reviews about it saying that it was a new Arctic aproach. I guess I just couldn’t believe it all. Review to come…

Nothing screams “reduce your stress here!” more than a death metal/hardcore show, with primordial screams bursting from every amplifier and brutal mosh pits of sweaty, rage-filled teenagers. Metal Blade Records continued their musical path of destruction, celebrating their 25th Anniversary; on October 2nd in Rochester at The Waterstreet Music Hall, with some of their most brutal, yet varied metal...
